What's the Platform?
What is the Kyoto Mechanisms Information Platform?
Kyoto Mechanisms Information Platform is a programme funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ), and managed by the Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC). The programme provides basic information for host country and Japanese stakeholders conducting activities, in the Clean Development Mechanism(CDM), Joint Implementation(JI) and Emission Trading.
What kind of information?
For International Stakeholders Host Country Governments*The Kyoto Mechanisms Information Platform is a public programme. In order not to interfere with activities of information industries and consulting businesses, only basic information is provided, and information with high commercial value is not provided
- Host Country Governments / other stakeholders are invited to introduce their basic country situation. Such information includes host country approval procedure/criteria, and other significant information.
- Country Portfolio (see in the Japanese Homepage) provides host countries with opportunities to promote themselves in the Japanese Kyoto Mechanisms Market in the Japanese language.
- English-language information on Japan is provided
- Help Desk service is provided. Ad hoc based assistance may also be provided
